Illegal immigration into the US decreased during Obama's two terms, was mostly flat during Trump's 2016+ term, but spiked massively during Biden's term.
or maybe..
Clearly all of this is Trump's fault.
During Biden's first day in office he signed executive orders to revert some of Trump's immigration policies.
Clearly that was Trump's fault.
Yes, policies changed during Trump's term to separate children from their parents. That was wrong.
When Biden didn't reverse that policy entirely, clearly that was also Trump's fault.
US agencies, and non-governmental organizations, have funded people to move to the US and then be complete funded for a few years, including FEMA spending roughly $1 billion ($350m in February 2023, $300m in April 2024 and $380m in August 2024) to give illegal immigrants free accommodations, food, etc while they wait for their immigration hearing.
Clearly all of these are Trump's fault.
Harris was made "The Border Czar" on March 24th, 2021, so she was in charge of creating a plan to deal with the problem. But there wasn't actually a problem, everything was fine.
Again, Trump's fault - he kept her from being able to craft policies that would actually help.
For three years.
That Trump is a conniving one!
In 2024 the Biden administration were pushed into "doing something" because a small portion of those millions of helpful illegal immigrants flocking into the country kept robbing, raping and killing people. So Biden was were pushed into a corner by Trump - clearly Trump was making the illegal immigrants rob, rape and murder people.
The proposed bill was hailed as a proper fix for the problem - which wasn't actually a problem but was still Trump's fault - was going to allow up to 5,000 immigrants to cross the border per day for a total of over 1.8 million per year, which was still significantly higher than prior to Biden's term. When Florida Representative Byron Donalds said it was a bad bill that they weren't going to agree to before Trump spoke with them, that was obviously him and others project what Trump wanted, not reading the bill for themselves and coming to their own conclusion. Clearly Trump forced Biden's staff to write the bill this way, and to also tie it to a larger bill that included significant funding for the Ukraine and Israel, and clearly it was his fault when the bill wasn't signed, it had nothing to do with being a bad bill, it was all Trump.
So yes, clearly the problem of illegal immigration in the US is Trump's fault - why won't you accept this?
